THIS JUST IN ...

Frances Catherine (Frankland) Kennard, 1875-1953

Mother's Voice Project

This recording has been floating around for a while, but never shared widely. You can help by identifying the names of the voices in the recording and providing other details about its creation.

"Mother" is Catherine Frances (Frankland) Kennard, wife of Leonidas Hamlin Kennard II and mother to John Gleason, Frankland James, Gordon Keith, Marguerite, Joanna, Verua, Lon, Esther and Verua.

At least two of the male voices are Gleason and Lon. One unconfirmed report is that John "Jack" Kennard, one of Gleason's sons, is another of the male voices.

The video will be updated with new information as it becomes available.

Reunion Update:

The 2016 Kennard Family Reunion took place July 15-16 at Camp Lamondi.

Past president Katie Kennard Laparra has passed the presidency gavel to Steven George.

We look forward to having you join us again next year for fellowship, music and fun in the comfort of the facilities at Camp Lamondi. Find it on a map. Look for news about it here or at the LH Kennard Reunion Facebook page.

Descendants of Leonidas Hamlin Kennard Jr., born 26 October 1869, died 28 November 1948.

By now, Kennards are scattered hither and yon. You can find family members on every continent of the globe. This is a humble attempt to bring us closer again.

As David George, son of Gale and Lenore (Kennard) George says, "A very hypersimplistic goal statement is that I hope to make the living happier and please the dead."
